Ekam Foundation Mumbai | Child Health and Education Organization

Ekam Foundation Mumbai is a registered Charitable Trust committed to positively impacting the lives of underprivileged children in India. With our humble beginning in 2012 in a library hall at a children’s hospital, we have steered through the challenges of the pandemic to build our programs and our presence as a credible organization in helping the underserved. Supporting the goals of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals 2030), we have created impactful milestones in transforming the lives of children and young adults and empowering them with better health and education. A focused child-centric approach to bridge the gap in affordability and access to healthcare and education needs of our beneficiaries has helped in building a sustainable organization upholding values of compassion, transparency, integrity, and accountability while observing the highest levels of compliance and corporate governance.

Mission

We work as enablers in meeting the health and education-related expenses for children in need.
Working in partnerships with the medical and educational fraternity, our mission is to provide timely and adequate support to make health and education accessible and affordable to children.
We also work towards preventive healthcare and the emotional well-being of children through awareness programmes in schools and communities.

Goal

Catering to immediate financial assistance and other support for better outcomes in healthcare and education.

Model of Intervention

Provide financial assistance for timely medical intervention to help a child survive and thrive with better health.
Support children and young adults to complete their education for a better future.
Assist hospitals and schools in building their infrastructure that adds to their capacity building for providing better services to the needy.
Create health and hygiene awareness, and awareness on education and career options through discussion sessions, both online and offline.
