As a Senior Programme Associate for the Eastern Region, she has worked with Ekam Foundation Mumbai for the past five years. With a postgraduate degree in Public Relations and Hospital Management, she has extensive experience in patient welfare, enabling her to effectively communicate with both hospitals and families. This helps her gain a better understanding of patients’ medical needs as well as their socio-economic backgrounds, which is essential in justifying their need for financial support. Additionally, she assists with follow-ups after patients are discharged following treatment and provides case stories for documentation purposes.
