A day full of guidance and insights in Hyderabad

On 4th December 2022, Ekam conducted an event for Outreach purposes on Sunday at Avasa Hotel, Hyderabad. The event was graced by: Pullela Gopichand, Former Badminton player and Chief National Coach for the Indian-National Badminton team; R Chandrasekhar, IAS (Retd.), Former President of NASSCOM and Former Secretary to Indian Department of Information Technology; Mr. Srinivas, CEO & MD, MTAR Technologies Ltd., and Mr. Anil and Jahanvi Chettri – Vishweshwara Hatcheries Pvt. Ltd.

The main motto and the purpose of this event were to talk about child welfare, motivate our scholars, and introduce them to the dignitaries that would help them with wider networking opportunities. The event also aimed at creating a community with Ekam & Patrons who can act as empowering & guiding lights for these scholars in their journey of independence.

The Hyderabad event started with a casual interaction at the venue between the students and the guests along with some good refreshments at 11:30 am. Later the event took off with a grand welcome speech by Ameeta Chatterjee where she introduced the foundation and its work in the Andhra and Telangana region. After an hour, R. Chandrasekhar who is one of the dignitaries was invited to the stage and spoke his thoughts.

At 11:30 am, the Hyderabad event began with a relaxed gathering of visitors and students at the site, followed by some delicious refreshments. Ameeta Chatterjee gave a fantastic welcome speech in which she welcomed everyone to the event and gave an overview of the foundation’s work in the Andhra and Telangana regions. One of the dignitaries, R. Chandrasekhar, was invited to the platform to share his opinions.

He spoke on the most important topic in today’s world i.e opportunities for women in professional careers and the importance of financial independence for the women of India. Soon it was followed by Phulela Gopi Chand’s speech that dwelled in-depth on the topic of how to stay inspired, committed, and focused on your goals during the toughest times in life. Not only this but also the speakers patiently and gracefully answered every question from the audience that came their way after their thought-provoking speeches. They also shared the challenges and experiences they’ve gone through in their own professional fields and personal lives.

Followed by the dignitaries’s speeches the scholars delivered a few speeches too where they spoke highly about Ekam and its work , the way the organisation helps students and also mentioned their vision for a bright future ahead. The whole premise was full of energy, inspirational talks, smiles, and an overwhelmed audience.

The day peacefully ended with an interaction between the audience at lunch and a warm speech by Ameeta Chatterjee where she thanked the dignitaries and the audience with all her heart for gracing the event with their bright presence and contributing more to the annual networking and outreach program by Ekam Foundation Mumbai.
